My greatest pleasure as a paper artist is to work with, manipulate, shape and form a material that appeals so much to all the senses. The different feels, textures, shapes and sounds, fragrances and colours of paper, as well as its different histories and provenances, are a constant source of inspiration which I try to transmit through each creation.
Out of exceptional papers that I have personally sourced and hand-picked around the world and that are special because of their rarity, craftsmanship, origin, design or surface treatment, I create objects for everyday use or decorative purpose. Each piece is entirely handmade, taking life through a lengthy process of cutting, folding, layering, sculpting and carving, to become a unique work of art.
